Course Summary

This presentation will take you through Cellmark’s holistic approach to the investigation of Sexual Offence cases. You will be provided with an overview of the role of the Forensic Scientist, the Case Assessment and Interpretation (CAI) model which underpins all effective forensic investigations as well as the examination and analysis techniques used by Cellmark to maximise potential evidence. Cellmark recognises the importance of having a strong relationship with CJS stakeholders and we will discuss the benefits of shared information and engagement throughout the life of a case.

The presenter will provide case studies throughout the session to highlight key aspects of effective Sexual Offence investigations with an opportunity for Q&As at the end of the session.
