Course Summary

Our one-day BPA Awareness course combines expert-led presentations with practical exercises which is designed to provide police officers, crime scene investigators, pathologists, barristers and other professionals with a theoretical and practical understanding of the many different types of blood patterns that are possible and the potential limitations of BPA.

 Some of the subjects covered:

  • Bloodstain pattern identification and interpretation
  • Event reconstruction and sequence analysis
  • Common, unusual and complex bloodstain patterns
  • When and why to involve a BPA specialist
  • Case examples and practical demonstrations

 


Course Schedule and Delivery

This one-day awareness course can be delivered either at one of our laboratories or on-site at an individual police force location.

The programme comprises a morning of instructor-led presentations followed by an afternoon of practical sessions, providing delegates with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.

Please note that a minimum number of delegates is required for the course to run.
