Forensic Chemistry Overview

From a background of two decades of forensic DNA analysis experience, Cellmark commenced the extension of its range of analytical services in 2006, employing experienced reporting staff and establishing a network of forensic companies and individual scientists who are leading specialists in their respective fields.

Our chemistry capabilities include the search and recovery of trace evidence from items and the subsequent interpretation and reporting. We carry out examination, recovery, enhancement and recovery of footwear marks as well as the comparison of other types of mark.

Fibres

Forensic science can recover and study minute textile fibres from crime scenes. They can be used as evidence of contact to link people, people and objects and people and places.
