High Sensitivity DNA

We are entering a new era of hi-sensitivity DNA analysis. Historically the only way of increasing the sensitivity of the DNA analysis was to increase the number of DNA amplification cycles (from 28 to 34). However, this approach provided little control over the increase in sensitivity.

Cellmark has developed a completely new approach to high sensitivity analysis which uses the latest advances technology to improve the level of sensitivity in a highly controlled and staged way ensuring that the increase in sensitivity is tailored to the specific requirements for a particular sample.

LCN

Low Copy Number (LCN) is a much more sensitive form of the conventional DNA analysis used routinely in forensic casework.

Enhanced DNA Analysis

This technique bridges the gap in sensitivity between conventional DNA analysis and LCN analysis
