At Orchid Cellmark our employees make the organisation what it is today, and what it will be in the future.
Each year your managers conduct a career development discussion with you to investigate development and training opportunities, as well as explore your career potential with Orchid Cellmark. The annual career development discussion is an integral component of the Company's performance management system.
We actively support our people in developing their skills by providing a broad range of training and development opportunities to suit the individual and company needs.
This development takes the form of:
- Comprehensive induction
- Short training courses to develop specific skills
- Longer term training for professional, academic or vocational qualifications
- Job rotation to broaden the range of knowledge and expertise
- Participation in multidisciplinary projects
- On the job training by our dedicated trainer or the Team Leader
- On-site internal training programs including supervisory and management development
