About Cellmark

Established in 1987 as the world's first commercial DNA fingerprinting service, Cellmark has become one of the world's leading independent forensic DNA testing laboratories, with a history of providing the police with high quality forensic DNA analysis.

Since the late 1980s, Cellmark has been involved in many pioneering DNA profiling cases around the world. From presenting the first DNA evidence at the Old Bailey in 1987 to pushing the boundaries of DNA testing sensitivity following the World Trade Center and Asian Tsunami disasters, our innovative analytical work has reinforced our reputation for quality and technical excellence.

Our labs have held international ISO quality accreditation since 1990 and are fully accredited to submit PACE and crime scene profiles to the National DNA Database®.

We have grown to become one of the UK's largest DNA testers by demonstrating our ability to provide increased capacity while continuing to deliver rapid turnaround times and forensic success rates that, as measured by our customers, distinguish our service.
